Silk Brocade Tailored Set

Woven so that silk warp and weft threads build the pattern together on the loom — a jacquard-like all-over motif in ivory and gold — rather than one carrying color and the other structure. Three separate silk wefts interlace by hand-guided shuttle to form the design, a technique that has held imperial status for nearly a thousand years.

A fitted, sleeveless vest with a V-neckline and button-front closure, paired with matching tailored shorts. Self-lined throughout in heavyweight silk — nothing synthetic, inside or out. Faux welt pockets on the vest for a clean line; functional welt pockets on the shorts.
